Storms This Afternoon

They were pretty severe. Any major damage locally?

Was at Goody's earlier today and the lights nearly went out on us, lol... lots of really hard rain too, and some huge rain drops at that!

Don't know about any damage, but I do know that it came a gully washer up near Norton/Wise, etc., but when I came down to Bullitt Park to pass some, there was literally no rain to be seen anywhere on the roads. Most (or all) of Big Stone must've completely missed it.

Last night I was at work (Big SDtone KFC) and it started raining pretty hard and thundering and lightning pretty good not long before we closed.

it is storming like crazy here in duffield....we've had the power go out twice already.

YES. Threw out partial power. Came in on phases when apparently has damaged some of the parts in the big air system at work, so it's about 110 degrees here and rising. Some of the computer equipment is in a seperate room, so maybe it won't fry, but had a server that didn't come up after the power issue last night even though it never lost power (was on battery backup, shut down properly but still...)

Going to be a long day, after a long night, was at work 5-5.5 hours after quitting time.
